SDGs lecture “Possibility of regional revitalization in SDGs era” will be held

Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) will invite Mr. Hiroshi Sato, Chief Senior Researcher, Inter-disciplinary Studies Center, Institute of Developing Economies, Japan External Trade Organization (IDE-JETRO) and will hold SDGs lecture on 29th November. Mr. Sato will give a lecture titled “Possibility of regional revitalization in the era of SDGs”.

ESG investment has been rapidly expanding, mainly by major enterprises and institutional investors, and it is also becoming obvious that they will review the relationship with business partners who are not considering ESG considerably, so we need to respond beforehand. At the lecture, we will explain ESG and SDGs to enterprises and local government officials. We are looking forward to many people taking this opportunity to attend.

NUT was appointed to a United Nations Academic Impact Hub for SDG 9 as exemplars for innovative engagement related to SDGs in October 2018.
We would like to realize a sustainable society through partnership with companies and local governments. Thank you for receiving inquiries from financial institutions and major companies to build partnership with us as soon as we have appointed to hub university. We appreciate your continuous support for us.
