The student SDGs Promoters organized a CPR seminar in English (2020.9.29)
On Tuesday, September 29, student SDGs Promoters organized a CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) seminar in English.
This seminar was planned by student SDGs Promoters based on their idea that emerged from discussions. Seminar was held on September 29, “World Heart Day” with the aim of spreading knowledge of CPR which saves lives in emergencies and raising awareness of SDG 3 “GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING”.
Mr. Guillermo Ignacio Guangorena Zarzosa organized this seminar is a student SDGs Promoter who graduated from medical school in Mexico and is now majoring in Science of Technology Innovation of NUT. After his presentation using slides and videos, the participants practiced CPR using resuscitation mannequin and training AEDs (English audio guide version).
NUT’s first CPR seminar in English was well attended, 13 university members participated on-site and others via online notably international students.
NUT will continue to actively support the activities of students and work together to promote initiatives to achieve the SDGs.
*This seminar was conducted with careful attention to ventilation and disinfection measures to prevent infection.
