Student SDGs Promoters exhibited SDG booth at HAKKOtrip2021.
On October 30 (Saturday), Student SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) Promoters from Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) participated in “Nagaoka City, a Place of Fermentation: HAKKOtrip2021~Hakko×Local×Science~” held in the Settaya district of Miyauchi, Nagaoka City. SDGs Promoters exhibited a booth introducing SDG activities at the venue in Niigata Prefectural Nagaoka Agricultural High School as part of effort to promote the SDGs among local communities.
The Student SDGs Promoters explained the idea of sustainable societies through board games (SDG Carom and SDG Activity game) to the children and guardians who came to the event, providing an opportunity for participants to learn about the SDGs while having fun.
Learning alongside the children, who will lead our society in the future, was also a meaningful experience for Student SDGs Promoters in terms of thinking about activities aimed at realizing a sustainable society.
We will continue to plan events and seminars focusing on the SDGs while raising awareness of the SDGs for externally through our unique SDG activities.
