Students at Kuroshio Juku Conducted an “International Exchange Gathering” with OUT International Students

On March 13, 2024 (Wednesday), we collaborated with Kuroshio Juku (Regional Council of Kushimoto Furusato High School, Wakayama Prefecture) to hold an “Exchange Meeting with Foreign Exchange Students.”

Four students from Indonesia, Mongolia, Hong Kong (China), and South Korea participated in our university and engaged in group discussions with high school students attending Kuroshio Juku. The four foreign exchange students not only shared about cultural and value differences but also conveyed their perspectives on Japan from around the world, fostering lively exchanges with the high school students.

Ruhagujab Bilegjargal from Mongolia, a second-year student in the Tourism Department, commented, “I came to Japan because I wanted to see the sea, so I’m glad I could see the wonderful scenery of Kushimoto Town. Japanese animation is fantastic, and there are many cultures and dialects in various parts of Japan, so I want everyone to know that these aspects are the charms of Japan.”
