Students of Osaka University of Tourism Participation in the Kumatori Danjiri Festival Cleanup Volunteer Activity
On Sunday, October 13, students from our university participated in a cleanup activity at the Kumatori Station rotary during the Kumatori Danjiri Festival.
The Kumatori Danjiri Festival is an annual event where the entire town comes together in celebration. Danjiri from various districts take turns entering the rotary, where a vibrant ceremony led by the local youth group marks the highlight of the festival. During breaks between the arrivals of each Danjiri, the students diligently picked up litter, contributing to the beautification of the area.

Our university will continue strengthening its ties with the local community and engage in various activities supporting student development. The students learned the importance of community contribution and teamwork through this cleanup activity. We hope these experiences will benefit them in the future.
