Participation in Local Kumatori Town’s “Orinasu Jikan” Volunteer Event
On Saturday, November 23, 2024, the “Kumatori Revitalization Event Project” Orinasu Jikan Vol. 4: Winter Preparations Edition was held at Smile’s Renga-kan and Nakaya Residence in our university’s local community of Kumatori Town. One of our students participated as a volunteer, alongside three faculty and staff members who attended the event.

The volunteer student contributed to the smooth operation of the event by assisting with venue setup, guiding visitors, and cleaning up afterward. The event day was blessed with clear skies, and approximately 4,500 visitors of all ages attended. The lively atmosphere featured about 60 booths offering delicious food and drinks, handmade crafts, workshops, art exhibitions, and more.
Osaka University of Tourism will continue to engage in various activities to support and be cherished by the local community.
