Students Propose Sightseeing Routes Using Shared Taxis
On Tuesday, July 22, students from our university presented sightseeing route proposals utilizing shared taxis, in collaboration with the “Shared Taxi Demonstration Project” promoted by the city of Izumisano.

As part of this initiative, four student teams visited the local area and created approximately four-hour routes from JR Hineno Station to AEON Mall Hineno. After walking the routes themselves to verify them, the students gave presentations in front of company representatives.
While they appeared nervous before their presentations, the students later commented, “Some of the feedback and questions were tough, but it was a valuable experience.”
Moving forward, preparations will be made for a trial operation scheduled for November 2025, with reference to the students’ proposals.
