Two student communities participated in the “Sannomiya OPA & OPA 2 joint SDGs Week event”
Two student communities from the University of Hyogo participated in the “Sannomiya OPA & OPA 2 joint SDGs Week event” from September 21st to 29th.
Hosting various SDGs-related programs, with the theme ‘Feel, Enjoy and Learn SDGs through the five senses’ at Sannomiya OPA, OPA 2, and Sannomiya Center Gai Shopping Street venues. The event was an opportunity for the local communities to understand SDGs through entertainment.
The student international cooperation organisation CHISE and the student organisation S&I Club.
Our first student organisation S&I (Sustainable and Inclusion) Club organised craft event, charity booths, and SDGs education panels.
“Create your personal fish” workshop and artwork were sold using recycled items collected from Suma beach clean-up and marine litter.
Sale of second-hand books and clothes to enhance reuse and recycle.
Panel exhibition of past SDGs projects; diversity protection activities (vegan and Halal food) environmental conservation activities, Suma beach clean-up at beach.
The second student organisation was the international cooperation organisation CHISE (Children, Hope, Immortal, Smile, Education)
Photo exhibition of Laos to spread the reality of inequality.
Weekend fundraising activities to support educational opportunities in poverty areas of Laos.
