The SDGs POST participated in JICA Kansai Autumn Festival
The SDGs POST (Promotion Office Student Team) is a student group that organises and hosts SDGs activities both on and off campus. From a student perspective, the group highlights the uniqueness of the Faculty of Human Science and Environment. The group participated in the JICA Kansai Autumn Festival as a collaborative project with the Hyogo International Association.
The JICA Kansai Autumn Festival is held at the Japan International Cooperation Agency Kansai Centre (JICA Kansai), where various exchanges take place through stage performances, booth exhibits, and Japanese cultural experience workshops.
We took part in the festival with the aim of promoting exchanges between people of different nationalities and generations to establish a multicultural society. We created a game to use “different values” as a tool, to enhance better understanding of others. The board game in which participants try to understand the different values through communication by guessing each other’s preferences.
Many people participated on the day, and a post-game survey showed that the game was enjoyed by all, regardless of gender or generation.
