Studetns from Osaka Univeristy of Tourism participated as judges for Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences Namisho Junior and Senior High School “Regional PR Video Presentation”
On Monday, February 5, 2024, students from our university were invited to Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences Naniyo Senior High School (2nd-year students of the Preparatory Global Course) as judges in the “Regional PR Video Presentation” activity, featuring the introduction of tourist attractions in Izumisano City and Kumatori Town through videos.
11th-grade high school students were divided into groups and visited Rinku Town and Mt. Inunaki to shoot a video and create a PR video using ideas and sensitivity unique to high school students.
The presentations were divided into 7 groups, and our students advised each group when their videos were finished.
After the presentations, Ms. Kazunari Saeki (senior student in Tourism study) commented, “The videos were full of ideas that are typical of high school students, and I enjoyed watching them. This is my fourth year living in Osaka after coming from the countryside, but there were many places I didn’t know about.” Mr. Kazushi Sakaguchi (senior student in Tourism study) also commented, “I have lived in my hometown for a long time, but through the videos of high school students, I was able to learn about many places I did not know. I hope that high school students will continue to promote the region with their unique sensibility.”
