The Future of Iwate Starts Here – Harmony among Nature, Science, and Humans
Introduction
Since its opening, Iwate Prefectural University has offered an open lecture every year, with more than 30,000 students attending so far, in order to give back the education and research achievements made at the university, meet the diverse learning needs of the citizens of the prefecture, and to contribute to the development of local communities in education, academia, and culture.
This year, we will invite lecturers from within the university and beyond to hear their specialized perspectives on the theme, “The Future of Iwate Starts Here – Harmony among Nature, Science and Humans.” We hope that you will take this opportunity to learn more about Iwate as it is now and think about the future.
