NUT concluded a comprehensive collaboration agreement on the Association for Sustainability Management Research

On Monday, June 24, 2019, Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) concluded a comprehensive collaboration agreement with Kagawa University, Shinshu University, and Hiroshima University on the Association for Sustainability Management Research.

The Association for Sustainability Management Research is established in collaboration with four universities, NUT, Kagawa University, Shinshu University, and Hiroshima University, with the cooperation and support of the Consumer Affairs Agency and the Ministry of the Environment, in order to promote research and education on consumer policies and environmental policies, and develop leaders of sustainable management in the region.

Through this Association, the aim is to enhance research and education at universities and pursue mutual exchange and remote education. In addition to promoting fundamental research in a wide range of fields, including business science, economics, legal science, public administration, education, safety science, food science, and apparel science, based on the results of the research, the implementation of remote lessons and credit transfer systems at universities will be considered after development and demonstration of educational content.

NUT will work on “implementation of educational content in the field of engineer education related to SDGs” and “promotion base for forming remote educational networks between higher educational institutions” as priority project in the Association. We will cooperate with each other in the development of SDGs human resources who will be the leader in promoting sustainable management.
