The Techno-Museum organizes an exhibition entitled “Future Technologies to Achieve SDGs” (2019.9.9-11.11)

Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) hosts the 15th exhibition "Future Technologies to Achieve SDGs" at the Techno-Museum (Tekumyu).

At this exhibition, the results of our educational and research activities and industry-academia collaboration, which contribute to the achievement of SDGs, are displayed on panels and actual products in an easy-to-understand manner with SDGs’ numbers. NUT is appointed as a hub for SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) in the United Nations Academic Impact and contributing toward SDGs. The exhibition introduces SDGs educational games, such as SDGs carom and SDGs Sugoroku, developed by NUT students and offered free for events and training, as well as exhibits of NUT's efforts to SDGs.

During the 14th (Sat) and 15th (Sun) September, Tekumyu specially opened on the sidelines of NUT Festival (Gidaisai) and was visited by many citizens. Based on staff’s exposition, we let visitors know about SDGs and research outcome achieving SDGs in an understandable way, and enjoy the advanced technologies of NUT.

Tekumyu is a place where we can display the results of our education and research in an easy-to-understand manner and make people imagine our future. The future that NUT is aspiring to includes goals for 2030 that SDGs indicate. We believe that the world that SDGs is aiming for is the world that NUT is aiming for, and we will continue to make efforts to achieve the SDGs.
