This student participation work was planned in cooperation with Mr. Nobuo Sato, a wheelchair painter admitted to National Hospital Organization Niigata Hospital in Kashiwazaki, as part of a project sponsored by Niigata Prefecture to "people with disabilities and people without disabilities create together."
During the festival, the video was screened with the exhibition of the work by Mr. Nobuo Sato and Mr. Tsuneo, his older brother with intellectual disabilities, and 515 people visited the Niigata Prefectural Civic Center which was the venue, and received many words.
Also, Mr. Nobuo Sato visited the venue as part of the project to support long-term hospital stays to return home by the Niigata Hospital. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all of the Niigata Hospital who secured a reliable system for a long-distance movement of 184 km from Kashiwazaki City to Niigata City.
