“The 9th International GIGAKU Conference in Nagaoka (IGCN 2023)” was held
“The 9th International GIGAKU Conference in Nagaoka (IGCN 2023)” was held in a hybrid format, both on-site, city hall, Aore Nagaoka and online on November 6th (Mon) . It was an international conference conducted with the intent to make “GIGAKU” a common language throughout the world and also with the aim of sharing good practice of engineering education. IGCN 2023 was held for the first time in two years, and Plenary Session was a joint session with the 8th STI-Gigaku 2023. The Education Session featured a panel discussion on “How to promote education after a pandemic?” was the theme.
This ninth conference was a great success with about 380 attendees from domestic and foreign university, KOSEN (National Institute of Technology), company and others from eight foreign countries, primally participants of the STI-Gigaku 2023.
