Promote industry-academia collaboration with Otetsutabi Co., Ltd
Osaka University of Tourism concluded an agreement with Otetsutabi Co., Ltd (HQ in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Rina Nagaoka) on March 3rd, 2023 regarding the promotion of industry-academia collaboration.
To cultivate our students’ tourism business skills, Osaka University of Tourism initiated a collaboration program with Otetsutabi in order to further promote the “Community Cooperation Practicum” and “Practical Vocational Practicum” curricula.
By participating in the internship program offered by Otetsutabi Co., Ltd, providing labor support in the region and interacting with local people through the process. Our students were able to learn about regional community development and problem-solving for imminent issues that depopulated areas are facing now.
