The Graduate of Human Science and Environment 20th Anniversary Ceremony

The Graduate of Human Science and Environment, University of Hyogo recently celebrated its 20th anniversary of establishment and held an anniversary ceremony.

The ceremony welcomed Ms. Kaoru Nemoto, Director of the United Nations Information Centre, who gave a commemorative speech titled “Climate Change and the United Nations -The future SDGs brings-”. She spoke with great passion for a wide range of topics, including the role of the UN information centre, differences between MDGs and SDGs, the promotion of SDGs in Japan, and the UN’s role in the Ukrainian war. Coming from a leading union, the lecture was certainly a memorable experience for the audience.
